The plenary session on the key Russian and international trends that will officially open the Special Day of the Russia Forum 2012

Today the media market is one of the fastest growing industries. How can one make sense of the multitude of technical and creative innovations that keep on arising on a daily basis and drastically changing the global entertainment and media space? What direction should the industry take? Where will new business opportunities arise?

All of these topics as well as many others will be covered during the plenary session “Film, TV and New Media in 2012: Key Points” that will officially open the Special Day of the Russia Forum 2012 (Moscow) on February 4, 2012.

Numerous professionals, highly respected by their industry peers, will share their vision of the industry trends and directions for development in 2012. The current state of the industry and its future will be analysed by Sandra Stern, COO, Lionsgate Television, Pavel Krapivin, Vice President, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Andy Lucas, Vice President, New Technologies, NBC Universal. The plenary session will be moderated by Marina Zhigalova-Ozkan, General Director, The Walt Disney Company CIS.

Accredited journalists may also receive their badges in Digital October, on February 4, starting from 10.00 a.m.

Journalists with Russia Forum 2012 badges will not be granted access to the events of the Special Day.
