First Deputy CEO, RUSAL
Vladislav Soloviev was appointed RUSAL’s First Deputy CEO in April 2010. He is responsible for the company’s operational management, with a focus on increasing business efficiency and improving production and financial performance.
Prior to joining RUSAL as First Deputy CEO, Mr Soloviev was CEO of En+ from 2008 – 2010. From 2000 to 2001 he was Head of RUSAL’s Finance Directorate and Director of RUSAL’s Accounting Department. From 1998 to 2000, Mr Soloviev held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Tax Policy and worked as an adviser to the Tax Minister of the Russian Federation. He began his career in various executive positions at UNICON/MC Consulting, with the responsibility of auditing oil and gas companies.
Mr Soloviev serves on the Board of En+ Group, and was Chairman of the Board of RussNeft for three years.
He graduated summa cum laude from the State Academy of Management, and also holds degrees from STANKIN Moscow Technical University and the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Mr Soloviev also earned an MBA from Antwerp University in Belgium.
