Mr Khachaturov graduated cum laude from the National Academy of Economics (Plekhanov) with a bachelor’s degree in finance and credit.

Mr Khachaturov began his career in the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation. Before moving to Atomredmetzoloto, he was First Deputy General Director at TENEX, and was in charge of Finance, Accounting, and IT.

Mr Khachaturov served as First Deputy General Director of Atomredmetzoloto from August 2007 until 2011.

In 2011 he was appointed acting Director General of Atomredmetzoloto.
