Sergey Kudryashov has been Russia’s Deputy Energy Minister since 2008. Until 2005, he worked as Vice President of YUKOS EP, managing Yuganskneftegaz. Mr Kudryashov later headed Strezhevoyneft and the regional control unit of YUKOS EP. Until December 2008, he was First Deputy President of Rosneft.

Mr Kudryashov began his career as a Drilling Operator at Nizhnevartovskneft, and later became the company’s Deputy CEO (head of integrated oil fields).

He graduated from the Kuibyshev Polytechnical Institute.
