Chairman, Yug Rusi
Mr Kislov was born on December 7, 1960 into a family of teachers. He graduated from Rostov State University with a degree in physics and has a PhD in economics. Mr Kislov founded Yug Rusi, one of the leading Russian grain exporters and the largest manufacturer and exporter of vegetable oil (under the brand Zolotaya Semechka), in 1992. In 2001, he created the Yug Rusi Agricultural Union, which is comprised of 19 formerly bankrupt farms with total farmland of around 200,000 ha. All of these farms are now profitable.
In 2009, Mr Kislov implemented one of the largest investment projects in Southern Russia – the Novosakhtinsk Petrochemicals Plant – worth over 30 bln roubles.
He is Chairman of the Agro-Industrial Union of Russia, the All-Russian Agricultural Workers Union, and Vegetable Oil Manufacturing Union, and is an honorary consul of France in southern Russia. Mr Kislov was awarded the Russian decoration “For Services to the Fatherland” (1st and 2nd grade), and the French Order of Chevalier de l’Ordre du Merite Agricole and Officier de l’Ordre du Merite Agricole.
