Philip Farah is a Principal in the Financial Services practice of Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) an Innovation and Strategy organization. IBSG’s role is to advise Cisco’s key clients on industry-specific, technology-enabled innovation opportunities and strengthen Cisco’s relevance as a provider of industry relevant solutions.
In his role, Mr Farah is responsible for US Retail Banking and a consulting lead on several Fortune 50 Global Financial Services clients.
Prior to joining Cisco, Mr Farah headed a strategy unit at Capital One Financial focused on the development of new products and services.
Prior to Capital One, he was a consultant with McKinsey and Co, where he served leading Financial Services companies on global strategy engagements with a focus on the retail banking and insurance verticals.
He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, a master’s degree in computer engineering from EERIE, France, and is a native speaker of French and Arabic.
