Senior Managing Director, European Team, Heitman Private Equity
Gordon Black has, since the mid-1990s, had primary responsibility for the group’s investment activities in Europe and is currently based in the firm’s London office. Heitman has participated in European real estate transactions totaling over $4 bln to date, and Mr Black has been involved in global acquisition and disposition activity totaling approximately $6.3 bln. He is a member of the Executive Committee, the Chairman of Heitman’s regulated commingled funds in Europe and is a member of Heitman’s Board of Managers and Heitman’s European Investment Committee. Prior to his involvement in the European team, Mr Black was directly responsible for a $1 bln joint venture portfolio of office properties located throughout the US. At that time, he was also responsible for the management of opportunistic investing and tax-driven transaction investments for Heitman principals.
Mr Black received a BA in finance from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
