Georgy Kravchenko was appointed General Director of Detsky Mir – Center in October 2010. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of Consumer Assets at Sistema since November 2008. Over 2005-08, he worked as Managing Director for Banks and Leasing (Financial Services sector) at Basic Element.

In 2002-05, Mr Kravchenko worked in the Moscow offices of Deloitte & Touche Regional Consulting Services Limited, initially as a Senior Manager and then as a Partner in the Consulting Department.

Mr Kravchenko is Chairman of the BoD at Mosdachtrest and City-Hals; Deputy Chairman of the BoD at Detsky Mir – Center, Medsi Group, MBRD and Intourist; and Member of the BoD at East-West United Bank.

Mr Kravchenko is a graduate of the Moscow Physical-Technical Institute and has completed the Boston Consulting Group’s Mini-MBA program at Wellesley College in Boston.
