In July 2010 Mr Fedorov was appointed Chief Executive Officer of EuroSibEnergo. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and for the implementation of its development strategy aimed at increasing operational and financial performance and transforming EuroSibEnergo into the sole industry leader in terms of reliability and efficiency.
Mr Fedorov combines his position of Chief Executive Officer of EuroSibEnergo with activities in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer of Irkutskenergo, a key asset of EuroSibEnergo.
Mr Fedorov began his career as an engineer at Energy Efficiency Centre of RAO UES of Russia. In 2004 was appointed Head of the Power Engineering Department at UC RUSAL. From 2006 to 2008, he was responsible for the implementation of the joint project between Boguchansky Energy and the Metallurgical Association of RUSAL and RusHydro, which included the construction of the 3000 MW capacity Boguchansky HPP on the Angara River and the Boguchansky aluminium smelter. From 2008, Mr Fedorov was head of the Engineering and Construction Division of UC RUSAL. In March 2010, Mr Fedorov was appointed Executive Director and in June 2010, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Irkutskenergo.
Mr Fedorov graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and was awarded a PhD in economics by the Moscow Energy Institute.
