In 1995 Denis Bugrov graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science and in 1997, from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations. He also attended courses at the INSEAD international business school. From 1995 to 2008 he worked for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company and rose from the position of business analyst to full partner. He joined Sberbank in 2008.
