Dr David G Tarr is a Consultant and former Lead Economist of the World Bank. Russia’s WTO accession has been one of his major research and policy interests for the past 10 years, and he led the World Bank’s research team for estimating the impact of WTO accession. Dr Tarr has worked in more than 25 countries providing trade policy advice, including 13 of the 15 FSU countries. He has authored more than 60 peer reviewed journal articles, several books and over 100 other professional papers.
