Managing Director, Troika Dialog
Aram Grigorian joined Troika Dialog in 2007 and is responsible for various projects in private equity, as well as special company projects.
Mr Grigorian has a wealth of international experience in M&A and corporate finance. He began his career with Salomon Brothers in 1994, after which he worked at Goldman Sachs from 1998-2000, was one of the founders of Salomon Brothers’ Moscow office and was involved in a series of deals on the emerging Russian securities market. When he was at Goldman Sachs, Mr Grigorian headed the Investment Banking Department in the Energy Sector of Emerging European Markets. He has worked in London, Frankfurt, New York and Moscow.
Before he joined Troika Dialog, Mr Grigorian managed projects in private equity and venture capital as part of a Moscow-based private investment group. The majority of investments were in real estate, transport and consumer goods.
Mr Grigorian graduated from the European Partnership of Business Schools (Reutlingen, Germany and London, UK, 1991-95) and the State Engineering University of Armenia (1987-1991). While he was a student, Mr Grigorian had internships at Phibro Energy (a subsidiary of Salomon Inc) in Moscow (1994), Allianz Holding in Munich (1992) and General Motors in Russelsheim (1991).
