Andrei has held the post of General Director of UTair since 1999. Starting in the early 1990s, he held various management roles with the aviation company Tyumenaviatrans (from 2002 with UTair). He is a member of the Russian-American Council on Business Cooperation, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Association of Air Transport, a member of the Board of Directors of the Transport Clearing Chamber, and a member of the Supervisory Board of Tyumen State University.

Andrei graduated from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University with a specialisation in Jurisprudence.
