Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation
Andrei Klepach was appointed Deputy Economic Development Minister in 2008 and sits on the Ministry’s Collegiate Board.
From 2004 to 2008, he headed the Economic Development and Trade Ministry’s Macroeconomic Forecasting Department.
From 1991 to 1997, he was a leading member of the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences and a expert at the European Center for Economic Policy. In 1999-2004, Mr Klepach was deputy director and executive director at the Center for Development.
Mr Klepach graduated from Moscow State University’s Economics Faculty and holds a PhD in economics.
