Deputy Chairman of the Board, Sberbank of Russia
Andrey Donskih was born in 1967.
In 1988 he graduated with a first class degree from the Moscow Institute of National Economy (currently, Plekhanov Russian Economic University) majoring in Economics of Trade. In 1995 he graduate from the Management Training Centre at Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, Faculty of Banking, majoring in Finance & Credit, Money Circulation.
He launched his business career in 1988 as an Economist at Plekhanov Moscow Institute of National Economy, and from 1990 he began to work in various commercial enterprises. From 1994 to 2004, Mr Donskih held management positions from Head of Correspondent Banking and Branch Network to CEO & Chairman of the Board at Moscow Credit Bank. In the period from 2004 to 2010 he served as Chief Executive Director for Retail Banking, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uralsib Bank, and General Director of Financial Corporation Uralsib.
Mr Donskih currently (since March 2010) holds the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Board and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Sberbank.
He is a holder of the Russian medal “For Services to the Fatherland” 2nd class.
