RusHydro

RusHydro Group is one of Russia’s largest generating companies. RusHydro is the leading producer of renewable energy in Russia. The company also manages a number of R&D, engineering and electricity retail companies. In October 2011, RusHydro acquired a controlling stake in vertically-integrated holding company RAO Energy System of East, which manages thermal, hydro-generating, electricity distribution and retail assets in the Far East of Russia. Total installed capacity of the generation fleet of RusHydro Group is ca. 35 GW, including the largest hydroelectric power plant in Russia – Sayano-Shushenskaya with 6.4 GW of capacity, which is currently being restored.

Russian Federation owns 57.97% in RusHydro, the rest is held by other institutional and individual shareholders (over 360,000). The company’s stock is traded on the MICEX and RTS stock exchanges, and included in MSCI EM и MSCI Russia indexes. The company has GDRs in the IOB section of LSE, and ADRs in OTCQX.
