Quadra

Quadra – Power Generation (Quadra) was established on 20 April 2005 during the reform of RAO UES of Russia and is one of the largest territorial generating companies (TGCs) (the company was called JSC TGK-4 before May 18, 2010).

The main activity lines of Quadra are production of electricity and thermal energy, transportation, sale of thermal energy in the retail market, and sale of electricity in the wholesale market of electricity and capacity.

The production assets of the company Quadra are located in 11 regions of the Russian Federation Central Federal District: the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, and Tula Regions.

The total territorial area of the company’s presence is 372.3 thousand km2; the population of this area exceeds 14 million people.

The structure of Quadra includes 25 electric plants, 358 boilers, and heating networks of 4,575.5 km in total length. The overall installed electric capacity of the company equals 3,549.5 MW; the overall installed thermal capacity is 15,728.9 Gcal/h.

The charter capital of Quadra is RUB 19.8 billion; 49.99% of the company’s voting shares belong to ONEXIM HOLDING LIMITED.

Quadra is implementing a large-scale investment programme aimed at renovating generating capacities which provides for construction of 1,092 MW of new capacity for the period till 2015 within the framework of capacity supply agreements (CSAs).
