MRSK North-West

Interregional Distribution Grid Company of North-West, has been operating as a united operational company since April 1, 2008 (earlier, it was a 100% affiliated company of RAO UES of Russia). Its structure includes seven branches: Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, Karelenergo, Kolenergo, Komienergo, Novgorodenergo, and Pskovenergo.

IDGC of North-West was registered in December 2004. The company services an area of 1.58 million sq. km with a population of approximately 6.3 million people. The total length of its overhead and cable power transmission lines is 174.6 thousand km. The company possesses 1,143 substations with a voltage of 35 kV and higher; the installed capacity of power transformers of its substations is 17.9 thousand MVA.

The company’s authorised capital is RUB 9,5786 billion. MRSK Holding owns 55.4 % of IDGC of North-West’s share capital.
