Highland Gold Mining

Highland Gold Mining is one of the top 5 Russian companies in the gold mining industry with a good potential for further growth. Its stock is listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange. The Company has two strategic shareholders – the investment company Millhouse Capital (32% share) and Barrick Gold (20% share) which is the largest gold producer in the world. Operations of the Company are located in Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The main producing asset is the Mnogovershinnoye deposit, which is located in the Khabarovsk Region. The Novoshirokinsky mine, the second operating asset, which produces lead and zinc concentrate was launched in the Zabaikalsky Region in October 2009. The Belaya Gora mine, located in the Khabarovsk Region, is the third mine operated by the Company, it was commissioned in 2010.

The Company is very active in exploration activities in order to provide grounds for further sustainable growth. The portfolio of its assets contains several exploration projects and two of them, Unkurtash and Lyubov, are now at the advanced stage of development.
